Public Works Metal Building Projects

Casa Grande School District #4 Vehicle Maintenance Center
   Casa Grande, AZ

    16,480 Square Feet
    20'-8" Low Eave Height
    Mezzanine

Provided and erected a combination vehicle maintenance center with administration offices. A mezzanine for storage and parts in the maintenance
bays were complimented by supports for an operable partition wall. The use of two single-slope buildings attached at the endwalls with opposite
sloped roofs was used to create a very modern appeal. The integrated mezzanine created additional storage space for maximizing useable square
footage. A conventional construction build-out of the interior office space for the administration area combined the cost savings of metal building
construction with the professional comfort of traditional office surroundings.

Tucson Fire Maintenance Facility & Additions
   Tucson, AZ

    15,570 Square Feet
    24'-5" Eave
    Monorail Crane Beam

Steadfast Structures provided both the original fire maintenance metal building bays as well as the building canopies several years later. The
Tucson Fire Truck Maintenance building was designed with large roll-up doors on both the front sidewall and the back sidewall so that fire engines
and ambulances could pass through the building for repairs. The building was also designed to support the loads required for a bridge crane (crane
by others). The ability to support the bridge crane, which is used to hoist and move engines, was a critical element of the original design.

The City of Tucson took advantage of the modular ability of pre-engineered metal buildings during the original design of the maintenance bays. The
building was specified to be able to support canopy extensions on both side walls, but the actual manufacture and installation of those canopies
was deferred several years to accomodate budget requirements.

La Paz County Public Works Facility
   Parker, AZ

    25,700 Square Feet
    Multi-Use Structure
    Metal Building with Masonry

This La Paz County facility was designed as a complex to house public works and roadwork maintenance. It is a typical example of incorporating
masonry walls for the office space and facade with the traditional pre-engineered metal building savings.
